Boot Camp
4
Since this is the first time I participate in organizing a camp, I’ve learnt a lot in the preparation. In the camp, I am the accountant. I have learnt how to prepare a budget forecasting the expenditure of the camp, flexible budget to estimate and control the expenditure during the camp, and an actual account asking for the refund of CityU FO after the camp. I also help in other activities like game preparation and logistic.
Besides learning hard skills in being an accountant, I enjoy the camp so much as I can learn something that is forever useful for the rest for my life. For examples some soft skills like collaboration skills, I’ve learn more about how to work with others as a team and have strengthen the relationship between the colleagues of the organizing committee. I have also got experience of how to manage and make decision when something unexpected happened.

Memento.
I love my life in architecture. I like the sense of satisfaction while creating something on my own. I have learn a lot in the path studing in architectural design and they are something that I will not learn in anywhere else.

Boot Camp 2
I have participated in Boot Camp 2. Besides having rest between the busy study time, the talk given by the teachers also inspired me a lot. In the reviewing section of the talk ' Walk out of comfort zone', I have realize that the changes of my life made in the pass one year are actually staying in my comfort zone and what i need to do is to step out of zone 1 and try to adopt with zone 2.
The sharing section of alumni provide us information about our career. The confidence of the alumni in the sharing section is what they gain in the two years of studying in CCCU. They have stepped out of their comfort zone and now they are able to share what they have learnt in CCCU. I wish to be like them, pushing myself stepping out of my comfort zone and be a better me.

Boot Camp 1
BootCamp 1 is a camp helping year 1 to be more familiarize with the new academic life in tertiary education. I am the photographer of Boot Camp 1 and I’m responsible for taking photos though out the camp. I have also learnt a lot in helping the team through out the camp.I help organizing the rundown , booklet, budget & account, also help with the logistic team, etc. Boot camp 1 not only held for year 1 freshmen, but also the organizing committee ourselves. Through organizing the camp, we know more about each other's. We know how to communicate with teammates and how to behave as a team: not only finishing the job assigned to ourselves, but also helping each others too. Your job may worth nothing if your teammates fail their tasks.
Heilongjiang Challege
Research and Logistic Team acted as a coordinator in Heilongjiang Challege. From the perparation to during the field trip, we didn't stop working. At the begining of the preparation, we needed to search for the information we may need in Heilongjiang: flight information, schedule, clothing and equipment we need to prepare, cautions in Heilongjiang, etc. The most important is to sercure the safety of our members. We held meeting every night to discuss the schedule next day and things we need to perpare.
I have learnt a lot, besides Heilongjiang Challege has boarden my horizon, not only the knowledge about logistics management, but also co-operation between members and the most important is to be assertive to the team and don't hesitate. I am glad that I have joint Heilongjiang Challege. This unforgottable trip has deepen our friendship and I have learnt a lesson that I will never learn from the lecture.

This project is part of the “Goal Through Perseverance” theme of the Career-Personal-Academic development aka C.P.A. Initiativesdeveloped to improve the quality of campus life for accountancy students, mostly. Pulling us out of comfort zones, pushing our mental and physical faculties to new limits, this project shall be our ultimate CHALLENGES! ….well, for now.
These are our challenges:
· Through the cloud, raise USD1,800 for each participant from the four corners of the earth.
· Complete within 8 days, a cycling tour in Taiwan from the city of Kaohsiung via the island’s southern tip and head north bound to Taipei, covering approximately 600km distance.
